Right now I am looking at using the Pam 4 mod and using a modified CAL ruleset. Mainly leaving the rules the same, just changing the round limits. Right now they have forst to 13, and I m thinking first to 9, maybe 7. It all depends on what you guys think.

Got a question for ya N2. COD4mp is a progressive rank based game correct? How does this translate to a LAN envrionment? Should I anticipate playing as a lvl 1 vs all lvl 55 players at an event or is this stuff reset? From what I understand rank is client side not server side so how can this be controled? Sorry for my ignorance but I can't access MP side of the game as it requires a broadband connection.

PAM4 is a mod for COD4 which limits the game to a specific type of weapon ie loadout for each class, and it also limits the perks available for use. It will be used in tourney play.

As for pub, I hope to have all weapons unlocked as well as all perks. That way everyone can play with whatever loadout they want. If I cannot do this, I will use the pub pam mode, and it will allow people to level up all day and everyone will start out at level 1.

Still making sure what does and does not work. Anymore questions hit me up!!

Ya 13 is way too long, and 7 too short. I think 9 will be fun.

come on people get ur teams together so we'll have someone to beat. tourneys r no fun when ur the only team in it. just cause we have an allstar line up dosent mean that yall wont have a *SLIGHT* chance.

13 round limit is great, especially in a 4v4 tourney, the rounds will go quick.

*****EDIT*****

The ruleset will be the most recent correct? Including no DI, Single Bomb and the United Sniper Fix?

Ya I am still mulling it over, but I guess I need to download it. I saw it released, but have been way too busy lately.
